Sachibondu depends on the support given by contacts overseas in order to run the clinic efficiently. Medical Missionary News containers in Essex offer a lifeline of support through the containers of supplies they ship out to Sachibondu.

Schools and churches around the country have been supporting the work of Sachibondu. For example, the Furness area recently sent out two containers of clothing, toys, medical items, educational materials, food and hygiene packs.
The area’s link with Sachibondu came through Spring Mount Christian Fellowship on Abbey Road in Barrow-in-Furness, a church which has financially supported Ruth Wallis and her work for many years. Through this connection, Chetwynde School, Ormsgill Primary School and Walney Youth Group all got involved to send parcels out to Sachibondu. Many of the young people involved in the project have also started writing to a pupil out in Zambia, providing informative cross-cultural links.
Local Inner Wheel and Rotary Clubs have also been generous in supporting the work of Sachibondu through their overseas events, whilst Chetwynde School's Chetango band have donated money received from their gigs and functions to the Zambian clinic.
